Family Learning Center Advisory Board

Welcome New and Returning Families!

The Family Learning Center Advisory Board consists of seven parents elected by the parents or guardians of students enrolled at FLC. Each member serves a two-year term.

The purpose of the FLC Parent Board is to represent families at FLC in their relationship to the LWSD. Members give input on policies, operations, course offerings, facilities and staffing. The monthly meetings are open to all parents and held at FLC. Regular meeting times are posted on the bulletin board outside the office. All parents are welcome. (It is best to always confirm the time and date with a member, as schedules are subject to change.)

Members can be reached by leaving communication for them in the Advisory Board mailbox in the office (bottom right of staff mailbox area) or in their individual mailboxes.

FLC Friends List-Serve

 ”FLC friends” is an online support group for families whose children attend Family Learning Center. This group is a public forum for exchanging homeschool ideas, asking questions and sharing community resources. Here you can find a sense of FLC community outside of the commons.
