I am a new member of the Finn Hill family.  I made my way to FHJH from the Chicagoland area. 

I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002 with a  degree in Animal Science.  After training horses for many years, I did a 180 and decided to go back to school for education.  I moved to Seattle and after a few years received my teaching certificate from the Univeristy of Washington-Bothell.

When I am not teaching or swimming in a pile of papers, I enjoy hiking, yoga, and eating good food.

I feel extremely lucky to have found myself in such a supportive, caring community of educators, students, and families.  I look forward to a year full of learning.
