I have been teaching at Finn Hill Junior High since 2002 and truly enjoy working with the students, parents and staff at Finn Hill as well as the surrounding community. I graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle in 1992 and left Washington to attend the University of Colorado. In 1996 I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and psychology and began working full time. In 1999, I enrolled at the University of Colorado/Denver to pursue a Master of Arts in Special Education. Following my completion of this program, I returned to Washington with my husband. Finally in 2007, I obtained my National Board Certification in Special Education.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters and two dogs.
