The best time to reach me by phone is from 7:45 a. m. until 8:10 a. m. , then from 9:10 a. m. until 10:10 a. m. and from 2:45 p.m. until 3:15 p.m.  I typically answer e-mails within 24 hours.

I am a 1994 and 1999 graduate of Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA.  Both my BA and MEd degrees are in Exercise Science.  I also hold a degree in Elementary Education from WWU.  I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, physical education and health.  In 2006 I began teaching math at Finn Hill Junior High.  In addition, I have taught physical education and health at the community college and university level.  Currently, I am working on attaining my National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Mathematics.

When not teaching, I'm attending events for my six children and taking care of my farm where we raise goats, chickens, ducks, geese, and ornamental pheasants.
