The Einstein Birthday Book Club is a fun way to celebrate your child’s birthday and support the library at the same time. It allows families to give our school community “the gift of reading”. When my children were in school, their elementary school had this program. It was really fun for them to see a book they had donated, being circulated throughout the whole school. Years later, younger siblings checked out the books too.

A birthday book may be purchased by check donation or going to our wish list at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/ref=yourlists_pop_1/002-0160376-1544815 . You can go to Amazon, and click on wish lists and enter Einstein Elementary.

Each book will have a special bookplate inside the front cover honoring your child and their birthday. It will be shared with your child’s class during library time, so they will be the first to enjoy it.

If you choose to contribute with a check rather than a book, the suggested book donation is $20.00. You can purchase a book anytime during the year to celebrate a birthday, ½ birthday or any other date you would like to observe.
