Community School students love the opportunity to spend an entire morning reading—reading independently, reading to others, and listening to read-alouds. A couple of days each year, children bring in comforts from home (blankets, pillows, stuffies, and snacks) and settle in to enjoy this time devoted to reading. Parents provide entertaining read-alouds intermittently throughout the morning.
