Field Trips
The ultimate opportunity for experiential learning

Our school seeks ways to learn in and from our larger community. Either we venture out, or we host visitors. Field trips allow the children to explore and make connections between classroom learning with events and situations outside of the school building.

A few examples of past field trips include local theatre productions, museums, and wetland investigations. We've also hosted a variety of speakers from the community to share their expertise and experiences with our students. Not all of our trips are purely academic. During the year, several all-school swims at the Bellevue Aquatic Center let our kids "be kids". These trips support our equal emphasis on the social, physical, emotional and academic development of our students.
