Blackwell is a great place to learn! "We work together to help every student reach their limitless potential!"
Mr. Anderson visited a  kindergarten class as "Captain Capital" who spread hero dust on students when their work showed evidence of using capital letters correctly!
  • Curriculum
    All staff members at Blackwell work to ensure our students (including first graders who graduate in 2020) are prepared for the challenges of the future!
  • Mathematics
    We would like to enlist your help ensuring that students are engaged in daily math practice throughout the summer break.
  • Physical Education
    Mr. Hutchison is our P.E. teacher. Students attend P.E. class twice each week.
  • Reading Programs
    Blackwell offers several programs to increase student success in reading.
  • Special Education
    Special Education serves students with disabilities and special needs, as well as their families. Students who qualify receive specially designed instruction either in our Resource Room or with support in their general education classroom.
  • Technology
    Lake Washington School District is a nationally recognized leader in using technology in the classroom and has been for the last two decades. Blackwell Elementary uses technology on a daily basis to enhance the education of our students.
