Technology and Computer Lab

Technology lessons enhance classroom instruction. Classroom teachers bring their students in the computer lab regularly.

Bell's Computer Lab houses 30 Student computers and two Staff Computers as well as a state of the art teaching station. Our student operating system is Windows Vista and we are fortunate to have Microsoft Office 2007.

Areas of focus in the computer lab are:

	Type To Learn III Using a typing mask on the keyboard
	Using Microsoft Paint to create art projects
	Microsoft Office: learning how to use the common tools and functions for all of the office programs
	Microsoft Word for creative writing, reports, spelling lists
	Microsoft Publisher for Brochures and Flyers
	PowerPoint
	Type to Learn JR for first and second grade
	Web based learning activities that are on the school website
	HeadSprout Early Reading Program for kindergarten and first grade.
