Rebecca Breier
· B. A. in Communications; Washington State University
· Master of the Arts in Teaching; City University
Ms. Breier moved to Washington and became a student within the Lake Washington School District (LWSD) when she was in 4th Grade. Within LWSD, she has attended: Emily Dickenson Elementary, Christa Mcauliffe Elementary, Inglewood Jr. High, and Eastlake High School. Her favorite elementary school memory was participating in a ropes course at Challenges Northwest. She was thrilled to go back to Challenges Northwest as a teacher in 2009, where she once again tackled a ropes course with her students.
Ms. Breier joined the A. G. Bell staff in the 2009-10 school year as a 5th Grade teacher and moved to 6th grade in 2010. Ms. Breier absolutely loves teaching and feels very privileged to work with great students and staff at A. G. Bell.
When she is not teaching, Ms. Breier can often be found playing outside with family and friends. Her favorite outdoor activities include biking, hiking, kayaking, and camping. Ms. Breier also loves to travel. So far she has visited 19 states within the US, Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland, Italy, 11 Caribbean Islands, and Brazil. She hopes to travel to many other places in the world in her life.
Ms. Breier is sometimes quite silly and thinks that laughter truly is the best medicine in life… although if you break your arm, you should probably go to the doctor.
