Mrs. Coffey grew up in the tiny little town of Concrete, WA. She has too many favorite school memories to pick one but 4th and 5th grade were her favorite grades. She had great teachers who made learning fun.
Mrs. Coffey started at Bell the end of August 2011 (moving over from Yakima the night before her first day of work!). Her favorite thing about the Bell staff is how supportive they all are. Everyone is willing to lend a hand to help out whenever it is needed. She feels very lucky to be working with them. She did her student teaching in the Spring of 2009 at Rachel Carson Elementary in a 6th grade classroom and loved every second of it!
As of Fall 2011 Mrs. Coffey’s husband and her two cats (Keats and Bandit) live in Yakima. She is sad to be apart from all of them but very excited about being here at A.G. Bell for this school year. Mrs. Coffey loves baseball. She has been a big Seattle Mariner’s fan her whole life, stop by and talk baseball with her anytime! She also loves the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her husband.
