Mr. Chan came on to the Bell staff early 2011, but he has worked in the LWSD for 10 years as a custodian; most of the time he worked as a night-lead custodian in Eastlake High School. After only a short time here, he already thinks it is a nice school with nice, friendly, helpful staff and teachers.

He was born and educated in Hong Kong and worked in the hotel industry for some years (both in Hong Kong and mainland China.) He and his wife have one son who is now in the CIA - NOT the US Government Department Central Intelligence Agency, but The Culinary Institute of America.   He joked with his teachers after he got the news from the college telling them, “-------I was being recruited by the CIA!”.  He has enjoyed cooking at home since he was in high school.

After work, Mr. Chan likes reading and enjoys the beautiful outdoors. When he was young in Hong Kong, he liked swimming, sailing, canoeing and diving.
