Notes:
1. Large binders are not reccommended. They are too heavy and expensive. The 1.5 inch notebook will serve the same purpose.
2. Make sure you buy at least 2 dozen #2 pencils. Please do not get cheap ones; they are made of wood that disintegrates while being sharpened and many of them have a very short life.
3. Please do not buy mechanical pencils. Students waste significant amounts of time trying to make the work (finding and replacing lead, etc.) when simply sharpening a wooden pencil will suffice.
4. Please do not buy you child fancy pens and pencils that are like toys. They are a major distraction (they do become toys) and most of them are torn apart withing a few days of being brought into the classroom.
5. Make sure that you purchase a USB storage drive so that your child can easily transfer work from home to school and back.
