Volunteers are the heart of the Carl Sandburg/DCS PTSA!  Without the dozens of volunteers who help out each year, we would not be able to create such great opportunities for our students.  Download and print the volunteer form below to let us know what ways you are interested in helping out - forms can be returned to your student's teacher. 

Here is a list of some immediate needs we would like help with:

• VP (or co-VP's) of Ways and Means -  This is a PTSA Board position, for the 2009-2010 PTSA board. Responsibilites include: overseeing the fundraising and community activities for the Sandburg/DCS Community (Fun Run, Collection of Box Tops, Carnival, Craft Fair and Easy Money Makers). Vice-president(s) of Ways and Means will need to attend two meetings per month. (PTSA board and general meeting.)
