What is the Rose Hill Elementary Art Program?
Rose Hill Elementary does not employ a professional art teacher, so the Rose Hill PTSA is going to provide an Art Program with funds for art supplies, compensation for a visiting artist, and professional workshops for art docents. All students at Rose Hill will participate in the Art Program.
Who is the Visiting Artist?
As this is a new program, starting in September 2010, the Visiting Artisit is still being determined.
Who are the Art Docents?
Art docents are parents who have a desire to explore art with kids. There’s no special teaching or art experience required...just a willingness to try something new!
