I started teaching in 2008. I went into teaching because I found that guiding children in the process of learning and discovery is amazingly rewarding. I grew up in the Seattle area and received a degree in Environmental Science from WSU and my teaching certificate from UW.
My husband Mark and I have two daughters, Coeurin and Brianna. My family also includes our dog Rusty and a leopard gecko named O.B. As a family we enjoy hiking, camping, boating, skiing, and scuba diving. A personal goal I would like to achieve is to climb Mt. Rainier
