I started my education at Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) and ended with my master’s degree at Lesley University in Boston. I moved from Boston to Seattle in 2004 and was a substitute in and around Seattle for a year. I took a liking to Rose Hill and managed to snag a spot working in the Safety Net program, which I did for two years. This year and last I’ve been teaching fourth grade, which I love. I always tell my friends that I can’t believe I get paid to do this job!
While in Boston, Fenway sparked my love for baseball. I also like to knit and read. I share my home with a two-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog named Osa who always keeps me on my toes.
