I began working in 1974 and have taught preschoolers to adults over the years. I spent ten years in Guam where for the first seven years I taught kindergartners in the public schools. Then a friend asked me to teach first graders at an Episcopal Prep School, which I did for three more years before leaving Guam. I have been a librarian since 1985 and it is a delight to watch children grow up.
My Bachelor of Arts degree is from the University of Washington, though I have attended many more universities than there is room here to mention.
My husband and I love reading, hydroplanes, and caring for our pets. I have been doing dog rescue for seven years.
