Central Washington University prepared me well for this profession. My daughter likes to say that it is my “calling”. She is a graduate of the University of Montana. I also have a son attending CWU. Both of my children attended Rose Hill Elementary and graduated from LWHS. My husband and I live in Bothell with a cat named Minuet and a dog named Taffy plus three fish living in my son’s room while he is away at college. We don’t know why they are alive.
I have been in education for over thirty years. I have taught everything K-6 except 4th grade. I have been very fortunate to spend almost my entire career at Rose Hill Elementary. Sixth grade is my favorite; each day is very different and challenging. It is fascinating to watch the students come in as children, leave well prepared and more matured for their transition to Junior High.
Our family enjoys spending time together. We enjoy boating and camping at Lake Pearrygin near Winthrop, Washington. Reading, games and puzzles are pastimes for us.
