I have been working in schools for many years as a volunteer, but this is my fourth year as a school psychologist. I work in three Lake Washington elementary schools. I am also a certified school counselor. I completed my schooling at Seattle University. I decided on this career for the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of students and parents. I find it exciting when kids are successful because of a contribution that the team made to their education or when parents or teachers feel supported. I have three children of my own who are or have been in Lake Washington schools. They have had a variety of experiences that enable me to relate to the struggles that students and parents are experiencing.
