I grew up and went to business school in Whittier, California. I started working for the Lake Washington School District (LWSD) in 1994 as a substitute IA, before taking a permanent position at Emily Dickinson/Explorer Community School in 1996. I have been the Secretary/Registrar at Rose Hill Elementary since the fall of 2006. Although I miss the interaction with students in the classroom I enjoy meeting the new families that come to our school and helping the students get settled.
I live in Sammamish with my husband Keith, our daughter, Kristine, who is currently taking college courses, and our cat named Mocha. Our son, Craig, lives in Wenatchee where he teaches at the college.
