I grew up in Canada where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree near Toronto. I attended Arizona State University to get my teaching credentials and a Masters in Education. I’ve taught for over ten years in the 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. I live in Seattle with my wife, where I enjoy working on several house projects. I play many sports including; basketball, football, alpine skiing, and mountain biking. I often commute to work on a road bike. Traveling, camping, hiking, reading fiction and non-fiction, and listening to National Public Radio (NPR) occupy my time. Teaching is a fascinating profession; kids have incredible minds, and they never cease to amaze me.
