Volunteer Opportunities
There are many opportunites to volunteer during the school year at Rockwell.

 

Volunteer Application Form - If you plan on volunteering in any capacity at Rockwell during the school year, you must complete a formal application provided by the Lake Washington School District.  The district is required by law to re-screen volunteers every two years.    Applications and information are available by selecting the form link above or in the school office. 

 

 Short Term Volunteers Needed for Vision and Hearing Screening

 

Vision and Hearing testing - Nov. 3, 2011

   About 20 volunteers are needed to help with Vision and Hearing testing.  Even if you only have a couple hours available, that would be helpful.  Testing will occur between 8:30 and 2:30.

 Online Math Volunteers

 
Math in Action needs your help to launch and monitor its brand new Online Program. Volunteers are needed to supervise students while they practice their math on Thursdays at the school’s computer lab. Each lab session last only an hour. If you sign up to volunteer for at least 10 hours during the school year, we will waive your child’s online registration fee. You can sign up once a week, every other week, or monthly.  Health Room Sign-Ups

 

When your child is sick, or is in need of a little TLC, they go to the Health Room. We rely on wonderful, compassionate volunteers to help our children when they need us. We need our parents to help staff the Health Room every day. No experience necessary. Training will be provided.

You can sign up to volunteer in Rockwell's Health Room one or more days during the month.  The busiest time is between 11:00-1:00 but you can sign up for any time that works for you.
