Staff Appreciation

Twice a month we will be doing something for the staff - a birthday celebration and then a treat with an international flair. If you would like to contribute your creative baking, cooking or card making skills and talent to this endeavor, please contact me so our staff can feel the love!

If you are from, have lived in, or are just really knowledgeable about a
particular country, please contact Victoria Bigelis to volunteer.

Single Event Committees

Holiday Food and Gift Drive

Rockwell's annual community service event that involves the collection of gifts and food donations for Hopelink.

International Night

Hands on crafts and activities representing many of the countries here at Rockwell.

Reflections

The Reflections theme for 2008-2009 is "WOW!". It's not too early to start thinking about your entry! Rules and entry forms can be from this Reflections link, or visit the WA State PTSA Reflections website for more information.

Blood Drive

Annual community service event typically held in late winter. The Blood Center's mobile unit parks at Rockwell for easy access to blood donation.

Reading Recognition

Reading Recognition is a PTA sponsored program that promotes reading at all grade levels and abilities. This program depends on volunteers to supervise the after school computer lab sessions.

Math in Action

Math in Action is a collection of math enrichment program consisting of: Math in Action Classes, MIA Online, and MIA Math Challenge.

Yearbook

Rockwell's annual publication of photos in order to capture school memories. Created by the PTA with artwork submitted by students.
