Rockwell Library Program
Rockwell students attend library classes once a week for a thirty minute period.  The classes consist of a lesson or story and a check-out time.

Primary Students’ lessons may include a discussion of parts of a book, elements of a story, types of books in a library, an introduction to electronic searching and enjoyment of literature.

Intermediate Students learn about the resources in a library, book genres, elements of a story, electronic resource databases, literature appreciation and more.

We have many exciting enrichment programs throughout the year such as our fall book fair, author visits and an annual used book sale in the spring.

The LWSD library program encourages and supports lifelong learning and literacy.

Parent Education Library - Donations are now being accepted of any parent educational books to add to this section of Rockwell's library.  Books on such topics as nutrition, positive self image, bullying, facilitating communication, and effective parenting are gladly welcome!
