Bike Riding Policy
4th, 5th and 6th grade students are permitted to ride bikes to school, per district policy.

Students in grades 4th, 5th and 6th are required to wear helmets and have a signed permission form from the parent on file in the office.  K, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students are asked to keep their bicycles at home. No skateboards, in-line skates or scooters are allowed.

Although we try to minimize the risk, the school would like parents to be aware that neither the school nor the Lake Washington School District can take the responsibility for lost, stolen or vandalized bicycles either while on school property or while enroute to and from school.  We have a bike rack and encourage students to always lock their bicycles.
