Back to School BBQ (Sept. 25th)
The annual back to school BBQ is a wonderful evening of fun and food to welcome back returning and new Norman Rockwell students and families.
Holiday Food and Gift Drive (Dec. 7 - 11)
Rockwell's annual community service event typically held in December.
Jump Rope for Heart (Winter)
Fundraising event for the American Heart Association held in winter.
Pancake Breakfast (Jan. 23)
Annual social event hosted by PTA Dads who prepare a delicious hot breakfast for Rockwell students, their families and staff.
Family Fun Night (Mar. 12)
Rockwell's annual dance party open to all students and their families. This event will be held on Friday, March 12th at Redmond High School.
Ecology Run (Spring)
Annual fund raiser for 6th Grade Outdoor Education Program, typically held each Spring.
Rockwell vs. Einstein Staff Basketball Game (Spring)
Basketball game held to promote school spirit.
Ice Cream Social/ Art Showcase (May 6th)
Field Day (June 9th)
This annual all school event is typically held during the final few weeks of the school year. Activities are planned for all grade levels to promote health and fitness.
Kids Care Campaign (Various)
Rockwell students take on one or more giving campaigns tied to a community or national organization.

 Clubs

Chess
Rockwell's chess club is great way to learn and build on your chess playing skills, open to all grade levels.
Math
Join the Math Club to improve foundational math skills through fun and meaningful activities!

 Activities Throughout the School Year

Get In Motion
November's activity is the Seattle Children's Kids Marathon Nov. 28th.
Music - String Orchestra and Choir
4th, 5th and 6th grades students interested in learning to play the violin, viola or cello or joining the choir.
Salmon in the Classroom
Part of the 4th grade curriculum, students learn by raising, caring for and then releasing salmon into the wild.
Art
Art For Kids is an after school, multi-media fine art program taught at Rockwell.
Reflections
Let your creative talents shine at the annual national PTA art competition held in the Fall of each year!
Reading Recognition
Reading Recognition is an after school program at Rockwell that promotes solid reading for comprehension skills.
Student Council
Rockwell's Student Council creates an opportunity for students to participate in running for elected office, conducting and attending meetings, and making contributions to the improvement to the school by student representation.
Drama
Join our cast for the annual Rockwell Spring play!
