    LWSD resources used to serve students with disabilities and special needs, as well as their families.

    Child Find is a district program that locates, evaluates and provides services for school age children who may have a disability.
 

 English Language Learner (ELL)

    Lake Washington School District’s ELL program empowers ELL students to achieve English language competency, and academic success, while honoring and preserving students’ cultural identity.
 

 Accelerated Programs

 
  • Quest Resources
    The Quest program is designed for highly capable students who have been assessed to have superior intellectual, academic and creative abilities. The district screens and selects students for the elementary full time, elementary enrichment pull out and middle school Quest programs. Elementary Quest Applications for the 2013 - 2014 school year will be available starting on October 1, 2012. Applications are due to the Quest Office no later than 4 p.m. on October 30, 2012.

    Norman Rockwell is one of the district's locations for a Ready Start/Head Start preschool program.
