Chess Club

Increase math skills, memory, and self-confidence.

 

The after school Chess Club is led by Chess4Life and is designed for students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade who are interested in learning or increasing their knowledge of chess. Basic principles and strategy of how to open a chess game, how to conduct the middlegame, and how to win (or avoid losing) in the endgame. Many other basic to advanced level tactics are taught, including visualization techniques and tournament practice.  Members meet on Thursdays after school. Print the registration form or register online. Questions, contact Jenny.
