Lunch Recess Activity

Reading is a basic tool in the living of a good life.
~ Mortimer J. Adler

The PTSA facilitates book clubs for several grades by providing books and other materials to help adult volunteers lead the groups. The book clubs meet over lunch, and anyone who has read the book is welcome. Books are provided by the PTSA or school library and there is no cost for participating in the book club. The book to be read for the next month's meeting is voted upon by the members. The parent leaders typically have discussion questions prepared for the meeting, but the discussions often take unexpected turns!

Please contact your child's teacher to find out if there is a club for your classroom or grade. If you would like to lead a book club, please contact Sarah.  Tips for getting started.
