KJH Wednesday Afternoon Ski Bus

2010-2011 Ski Season 

 

Lake Washington School District does not sponsor, endorse, or recommend any of the organizations, services, or activities described in these materials.  It is that time of year, once again, to sign up for the KJH Wednesday Afternoon Ski Bus. It is a perfect way for your child to spend the afternoon on an early release day. This increasingly popular Wednesday afternoon Ski Bus option will be available on a first come, first served basis.

 

The busses filled up last year and we had to turn kids away. If your son or daughter that are of a Jr. High or High School age would like to participate, please call 206-782-5641 to request a registration form or access the Webbski website at www.webbski.com to have one mailed to your home.

 

KJH Ski Bus 1st & 2nd (6 Week) Session Dates:

1st session: Wednesday January 5th through Wednesday February 9th, 2011

2nd sessions: Wednesday, February 16th through Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

 

2010-2011 Season Pricing

Webbski, a premier Ski School in the Northwest, since 1965, continues to offer professional instruction and transportation at a very competitive price:

 

6 weeks of Transportation only: $106

6 weeks of Instruction and Transportation: $153

 

Trip To Snoqualmie Central:

1:15 p.m.: Bus and participants arrive at KJH

1:30 p.m.: Bus loaded and departs KJH

2:15 - 2:30 p.m.: Bus arrives at Summit Central on Snoqualmie Pass

 

Return Trip:

7:15 - 7:25 p.m.: Participants load on bus at Webbski staging area

7:30 p.m.: Bus loaded and departs Snoqualmie Central

8:15 - 8:30 p.m.: Bus arrives at KJH

 

To Secure a Seat on the KJH Ski Bus:

Fill out a Webbski Registration form and mail to Webbski with your check today to ensure you are reserved a seat on the bus. Be sure to send in your release of liability form (SCF-6) with your registration. Your child can pick one up from the office.

 

To Be Assigned to the Same Bus As Your Friends:

Please provide your child's “buddy request” information on the enrollment form. The Ski School will make every effort to accommodate timely requests.

 

Adult Volunteers Needed:

If you would like a free bus ride to the mountain and a free ski pass, sign up today to be a volunteer chaperone on one of our busses. Webbski provides training and you will find it is a great way to spend your Wednesday afternoon with your kids and their friends. Past participants have collaborated with friends to volunteer so they can ski together. Call Webbski at 206-782-5641 if you are interested in volunteering.
