"Paws"itive Starts
This is a successful before-school program offered to families for students of Juanita Elementary.  Please e-mail Kris Wood at kwood@lwsd.org  or Claudia Rolander at CRolander@lwsd.org if you have any questions.

PLEASE NOTE ON LATE START DAYS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER:

If school start is delayed in the mornings,' Pawsitive' Starts will not be in session. This is a Juanita Schools Foundation program and not connected with the District's Extended Daycare program. Thanks for your understanding.

Does your child need a "Paws"itive place to be in the morning? "Paws"itive Starts is a program for students whose parents need to leave for work early, but may not need other day care. Students are not allowed on the school grounds until 8:45 a.m. because there is no supervision for them. "Paws"itive Starts provides a safe, fun place for students who arrive early.  This program is provided by The Juanita Schools Foundation, a non-profit organization that works in partnership with Juanita Elementary. It is not a school district program.

Activities for students include homework, quiet reading, board games, drawing and quiet conversation.
