Student Council
Student Council is a great leadership opportunity for students at Blackwell.

Student Council is a leadership opportunity for students.  This year the Blackwell student council will have one representative from each 5th and 6th grade classroom.  Classrooms will select their representative in September.  In January we will be adding a representative from each 4th grade classroom.  Student council will coordinate fun activities for students to be involved with school spirit such as “Spirit Days”, organize a fundraising event, and other exciting student events.  Mrs. Tremblay is the student council advisor.

Student Council has been working very hard this year!  In October with the help of other Blackwell students, student council has written all of the Pass the Hat thank you letters to families.  In November, they put together the food drive which helped individuals and families through Hopelink.  Students planned, promoted, collected, counted and carried 2,617 items of food.  That equals 2,445 pounds!  Go Bobcats!
