Mrs. Olsen grew up in Kalispell, Montana. She and her husband, Steve, have a four year old son, Andrew and Maddox just born September 2010! They like to travel and spend time in Montana with family. Mrs. Olsen also enjoys going to baseball games with her family (go Mariners!), shopping, and playing with her boys.
Mrs. Olsen loves teaching first grade at Bell. She loves the families that she has had the opportunity to work with as well as the colleagues she now considers an extension of her family. As a child, Mrs. Olsen fondly recalls putting on a Cabbage Patch Kid musical in Fourth Grade and winning the Fifth Grade Spelling Bee. Her 1st and 3rd grade teachers were her favorite because they both made learning fun.
Her mom and dad are her heroes and role models. They raised six children who are happy, healthy, and supportive of one another.
