Deborah Hanson
Mrs. Hanson grew up in the state of Washington mostly in the Redmond and Kirkland area. They had horse, chickens and rabbits. She attended Redmond, Rose Hill and Horace Mann Elementary schools, Redmond Jr. High and graduated from Lake Washington High School. Her grandpa used to own the old dime store in Kirkland and her grandma ran the ladies clothing shop in Kirkland in the sixties.
She enjoys being the head custodian at Bell because of the people. She and her husband (who is the head custodian at Rush Elementary) own a home in Renton. Her son who is married and she has two grand children that attend a district Junior High.
Mrs. Hanson loves to read. She enjoys outdoor activities including fishing for steelhead, salmon and trout and even has her own pair of chest waders.
Mrs. Hanson admires Whoopie Goldberg because she has come a long way picking herself up by her boot straps, making something of her life and giving great words of wisdom.
