Mr. Anderson grew up in Anchorage, Alaska where he spent Kindergarten and First grade in the small town of Seward Alaska – this is where he learned to love fishing and spending time outdoors.
His favorite teacher was Ms. Volland who was very strict but she was fair and he knew she loved him. They sang songs and danced in her classroom. He was as tall as she was.
Mr. Anderson lives in Duvall with his wonderful wife Christine – who he met in 3rd grade. They have a two daughters ages 12 and eight and two sons ages ten and four. They also have seven chickens (“the girls” – Lulu, Chickeezie, Miracle, Brahma Mama, Bluebell, Liger and Precious) and a crazy dog – a Maltese named Andy. Their family loves going on hikes or short family adventures together – traveling to different towns in the Northwest, camping or staying in hotels. They also enjoy doing service projects at church together.
This is Mr. Anderson’s third year as principal at AG Bell and he loves working with our exceptionally skilled and committed staff members. It’s like a big family around here – everyone pulls together to support our students and each other. He also feels we have the best students and families at A.G. Bell. Our students are beautiful, smart and have very bright futures. Greeting students as they arrive at school each day is one of the highlights of his job.
