Alcott's 5K Walk/Run
Orca Dash 2012

Orca Dash is one of our primary fundraisers this year for the PTSA. The money will help the PTSA support the children, families, and staff with the programs and resources needed to make Alcott a great success, and a much sought-afetr school!!

 

ORCA DASH

That’s right — Alcott is holding its very first 5K Run/Walk

Date: Sunday, May 6th, 2012
Time: Race starts at 9:30am
Location: Redmond Town Center (directions)

Join us for the first annual Orca Dash 5K Fun Run. This will be a fun race for children and adults of all ages and speeds! The course is flat and easy, which would be perfect for a first 5K!

There will be a free toddler dash after the 5K for kids 5 and under. All runners will receive a medal! Dogs and stroller are welcome, but they will need to start at the end of the waves of racers.

All proceeds from the race benefit the Alcott PTSA, an organization who funds academic and family programs at Alcott Elementary School in Redmond.

Schedule:

Friday, May 4th:
11am - 6pm - Packet Pick-Up at Plateau Runner in Sammamish

Sunday, May 6th:
8-9am - Registration & Packet Pick-Up
9:30am - Race Start
10:30am - Kids Tot Race
11:00am - Awards and Raffle
