Matthew Holm, illustrator and co-author of the Babymouse and Squish graphic novel series will be at Alcott on Tuesday, November 8^th thanks to the generous support of the PTSA. All of our students will have the opportunity to hear him tell stories about drawing comics as a child, talk about how he and his sister, Jennifer Holm, came up with the idea for Babymouse, and listen to him describe how a graphic book is created. And there will be a lot of drawing. Our budding authors and illustrators will be inspired! Matthew Holm will also be signing books. If your child already owns a Babymouse or Squish book have him/her bring it to the library by Monday, November 7^th.
