Staff Conduct

File: GBCB

The Board of Directors reaffirms one of the oldest beliefs in education: one of the best methods of instruction is that of setting a good example.

The board expects that the entire staff shall strive to set the kind of example for students that shall serve them well in their own conduct and behavior and contribute toward a school atmosphere that is friendly, but has a degree of formality.

District investigations of complaints against employees shall be conducted promptly and results shall be communicated on a need-to-know basis. Employees shall have access to information leading to any complaint made against the employee. Employees shall be expected to cooperate with any investigation conducted by the district to ascertain facts and relevant information.
