For the fourth year in a row, the College Board named Lake Washington School District (LWSD) to its Annual AP District Honor Roll. LWSD is one of only 431 public school districts in the nation and one of eight in Washington to be honored.
School District Goals and Objectives
The Board of Directors expects the superintendent to involve the district in long- and short-range planning, significant research and evaluation for the various functions of the school district.
The superintendent is authorized, within budget resources, to employ the necessary personnel, contract with outside agencies, organizations, or individuals and utilize government and private grants in the development of programs that shall serve the best interests of the district for the present and future.
