What does it feel like to have a disability? The Margaret Mead Elementary School PTSA wanted students to be able to empathize with their peers who face mobility, learning or other challenges. As part of Disability Awareness Month, they set up a Disability Awareness Fair with eight learning stations.
The superintendent of schools is directed to establish and maintain an orderly plan for preserving and making accessible the policies adopted by the board and the administrative rules and regulations needed to put them into effect.
Accessibility is to extend to all employees of the school system, to members of the board and to the public.
