What does it feel like to have a disability? The Margaret Mead Elementary School PTSA wanted students to be able to empathize with their peers who face mobility, learning or other challenges. As part of Disability Awareness Month, they set up a Disability Awareness Fair with eight learning stations.
Booster Clubs - Support Organizations
The school district recognizes the formation of Booster Clubs and/or special interest organizations (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Booster Clubs”) in support of specific extra-curricular athletics or activities conducted within the school or Lake Washington School District (hereinafter referred to as the “District.”) All Booster Clubs must receive the approval of the school principal in order to be officially recognized as a Booster Club associated with the school.
The Superintendent is authorized to develop procedures for this policy, as necessary.
