Dance Coach for Redmond High School

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Coach must be available to supervise dance team.

2. Must have some knowledge regarding developing routines, scheduling meets, and overseeing transportation/supervision of team as they practice, travel and compete.

3. Must be able to motivate dance team members and maintain positive rapport with participants and parents.

4. Must be organized in management of equipment, and written record.

5. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

6. Must meet and abide by LWSD policies and guidelines, (first aid, CPR, HIV, HBV, fingerprinting, Educators and Touching, references, orientation, and eligibility work form).

7. Demonstrated cooperation with school administration in promoting the total athletic program.

8. Must be able to organize, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate practice sessions and related activities.

9. Demonstrated proper sportsmanship responsibilities as a good role model for parents, students and fans.



License Requirements:
All district employees are required to attend a HIV/HBV and Educators and Touching presentation or supply evidence of similar courses to Personnel Services.
Immigration Reform and Control Act Requirement
All new employees are required by law to submit documentation to Human Resources proving eligibility to work in the USA by completing an employment eligibility form within three days of employment.
Applicant Disclosure Statement
Pursuant to Chapter 486, Laws of 1987, all applicants must complete the Applicant Disclosure Form provided by Human Resources at the time of application.
Background Check on Recommended Candidate
A reference check inquiry will also be made by Human Resources on recommended candidates. According to 1992 legislation ESHB 2518, all school employees with regularly scheduled unsupervised access to children are required to have a criminal background check, which includes fingerprints.
