Citing Non-Print and Electronic Resources

Useful examples show citations for Web pages, online information, film clips and interviews

Citations can be confusing, especially when using many different types of non-print resources. Follow these examples for specific situations. Be sure to double-space all works cited or works consulted lists.

 

What to Do If You Can't Find Information:

You have to indicate that required information is missing. Use the following codes:

No Date (of publication, update, etc.) = n.d.

No page number = n. pag.

No publisher/sponsor = n.p.

A Web Page Or an Entire Website


Author or editor. “Title of Web Page.” Name of website.

Name of Sponsor, date of resource creation.

 

Medium of Publication. Date of Access
