Welcome Back to School BBQ
This evening BBQ allows parents and kids to come and meet new folks entering our school as well as catch up with school friends. Visit tables and to learn about various volunteer opportunities, purchase Lakeview paraphernalia, and after school opportunities for students.

Marathon
Students complete a Marathon during lunch recess. The event happens in April and May at the lower field. Lap after lap they can experience the accomplishment of completing a marathon (26.2 miles).

Lakeview Birthday BBQ
This annual celebration gives parents a chance to come to the school and have lunch with the kids. Weather permitting you can enjoy an outdoor BBQ and celebrate Lakeview getting one year older.

Art Walk
The Art Walk is your opportunity to see artwork from Lakeview's own student artists. They may not be famous yet, but their work sure is spectacular! Every child will have his or her artwork on display. This is a free, fun family event which includes guest artists, snacks and art activities.

Carnival
Bring the whole family to Lakeview for games, prizes, food and fun for everyone. The activities include face painting, a monster obstacle course, the cakewalk, the new strong-kid game, balloon darts, wheel of fortune, frisbee toss, and many others! There will also be a silent auction section to benefit the PTSA.

Family Dance Night
Galen the DJ joins Lakeview during all PE classes to teach the students various dance moves which then culminates in a really fun dance on Friday night with pizza, goodies and prizes. Come see your student strut their stuff and join in too!

Spirit Day
Several times throughout the school year, students and staff honor Lakeview with a school assembly and wear school colors of yellow and blue to show their school spirit.

Winter Wishes
Winter Wishes is a wonderful tradition at Lakeview. Less fortunate families are chosen by the school to receive holiday gifts they have requested. Lakeview students, with their parents, select one or more of the Winter Wish tags and fulfill the wish listed for one of the children in these families.

Walk-to-School Week
This 5-day event includes daily prizes, Kirkland firefighters, motorcycle police officers and PedBee. Students (and parents) walk to school and practice pedestrian safety. Classes compete for the most walkers with the winning class treated to an ice cream party.

Make-It Take-It Fair
Bird feeders, candle holders, memory pavers, flower pots with paper white flowers, and vases….  These are just a few of the items your kids will enjoy making for family and friends at this fun event held in the Lakeview gym.
