Various services offered throughout the district for specific age groups, needs or interests
The district offers qualified international and foreign exchange students in grades 9-12 an opportunity to attend Lake Washington schools. Learn about the admissions process for both students who are part of an organized exchange program as well as those who are sponsored by relatives or friends.
The Eastside Native American Education Program is a federally-funded program that assists Native American, Alaskan Native and American Indian students in the Lake Washington, Bellevue and Northshore School Districts in grades K-12.
The district offers a selection of online courses so that district students have additional choices for learning. The LWSD Online Academy offers students an opportunity to earn credits for classes that he/she may not have passed and are needed to graduate.
The district offers classes during the summer for elementary, middle school and high school students who live in and outside of the district. High school students can retake different sections of the WASL.
State certified youth traffic safety programs rent school district facilities to provide traffic safety courses throughout the year. Find out where programs are offered and how to enroll.
