Lake Washington School District (LWSD) no longer offers traffic safety education as a district program for students. For the convenience of students and parents, the district is allowing state certified youth traffic safety programs to rent school district facilities to provide traffic safety courses.

Programs offering traffic safety education at LWSD schools
SWERVE
SWERVE Driver Training offers New Driver Training Courses for teen drivers. SWERVE instructors are highly trained and the unique curriculum has been designed to be engaging to the teenage brain. Classes are scheduled to take place throughout the school year at the following high schools:

  • Eastlake
  • Juanita
  • Lake Washington
  • Redmond
