Lake Washington School District (LWSD) no longer offers traffic safety education as a district program for students. For the convenience of students and parents, the district is allowing state certified youth traffic safety programs to rent school district facilities to provide traffic safety courses.

SWERVE Driving School
SWERVE Driving School offers New Driver Training Courses for teen drivers. SWERVE instructors are highly trained and the unique curriculum has been designed to be engaging to the teenage brain. Classes are scheduled to take place throughout the school year at the following high schools:
- Eastlake
- Juanita
- Kirkland Middle School

911 Driving School
911 Driving School offers drivers education for teen drivers. All classroom and driving instruction is taught exclusively by police officers. Their real world experience and knowledge make the instruction informative, safe and enjoyable. Driving is a big step in every teen’s life and we want to prepare them for a lifetime of collision free driving. Classes are taught year round at the 911 Driving School in Bellevue and at the following schools:
