Students Need Math and Science Skills to Graduate

Formal lab report required, more for class of 2011

Math and science skills are increasingly important for the work world. They are also increasingly important to understand what is going on in this world. To graduate, students must show that they have learned and can apply basic scientific and quantitative skills. To meet the requirement, students must complete one formal lab report. There are opportunities to complete this requirement in regular science classes that students take to meet their credit requirements.

For the class of 2011, students will have to complete a problem solving and reasoning report, in addition to the formal lab report requirement. More information will be provided on what that report must entail.
