Budget Blog Moderator, Kathryn Reith
Page Content
Kathryn Reith’s position with Lake Washington School District is communications director. What that means is that she is responsible for creating connections between the district and people – parents, staff members, students, community members, and anyone else who is interested. Some of the tools she uses for creating connections are this Web site, newsletters, publications, media relations, public meetings and just plain answering questions. She joined the district four years ago after a career in public relations at organizations including the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the Women’s Sports Foundation and Nike.
