Redmond, Wash. Due to last week’s snow, mandatory parent meetings for some Choice Schools were rescheduled. The new schedule made it difficult if not impossible to meet the original deadlines for applications. As a result, some schools will have a later application due date to accommodate their later meetings. Stella Schola applications will be due on January 31 and applications for Discovery Elementary, Northstar Middle and the STEM school will be due February 3.
Those Choice Schools whose meetings took place before the snowstorm will continue to follow the original schedule and hold their lotteries on February 3. Stella Schola will also be included in that lottery. A second lottery will be held on February 10 for Discovery Elementary, Northstar Middle and the STEM school.
All schools will send notification letters on February 15. Acceptance is due for all schools by February 27.
